Kind of ! I mean, some posts will be much like my first (undies, lingerie), but there won’t be any blatant nudity or porns.
Yay ! My first outfit post on my new vanity blog ! Help spread the word that Kyla The Great has a new home for fashion/vanity posts. <3
We had two days of cold (65 degree) weather so I got to wear my favorite sweater and my new pair of ankle zip Stiletto jeans from Torrid (they’re amazing, but each style/color they come in fits differently, I suggest sizing up once for this pair) !
I Hello Kitty’d myself out with my first attempt at a hair bow (which is hella difficult with my super layered, uneven hair, but whatevs), HK necklace, and bright red lip.
It’s back up to 80-something degrees right now, but it felt good to indulge my cold-weather fashion fantasies for at least a day.

Lipstick: e.l.f matte lip color in Rich Red ($3, y’all !)

Why Fat Vanity ?
I’m told every day “no one wants to see that.” But the size of my body and the depth of my pride are far too vast for any of this to go unseen. I love myself to the point of conceit; decorating and showing off are things I do for myself. Owning my visibility, while a complicated matter most days, is a form of fat hate resistance. I’m fat… and you’re going to see me, whether you like it or not, because this is me, this is what I like to do, and gosh darn it, I feel amazing !
Fat Vanity is more than a blog to showcase my outfits. Fat Vanity is a place for me to own my love for myself. To talk about it. To express what it’s like to take control and own your visibility. To encourage others to ham it up. Because loving yourself isn’t vain— it’s common courtesy.
